    Buy it!

I absolutely love this pool and am so glad I purchased it.If you’re like me and don’t have a pool, this is a great thing to have if you want to cool off and catch a tan during the summer! Would make a great float even if you have a pool.My only downfall is the cup holder does not fit my hydro jug, it’s definitely smaller than I expected.Overall, it was easy to ensemble and pretty thick – holding the air great and keeping its shape.I love the fact that the headrest clips in or I can take it off and move it around, it’s definitely pretty comfortable to lay in for a couple hours. For being a small tanning pool it definitely keeps me nice and cool on those hot days. I’m about 5’3 and feel like I could have ordered the bigger size since my feet do hang off a little but not a big deal for me! I definitely enjoy laying out in this while reading a book and catching a tan – I will most definitely be using this quite a bit this summer!

    Good tanning pool

I am so glad I bought this. It’s been super hot lately and I don’t have a pool but I really enjoy laying out to tan. I bought this little float so I could fill it with water or lay a towel in it and put it in the yard so I can tan for a few hours and it works just perfect for that. I do recommend buying an air pump for it (I bought one for like $12 on Amazon that can inflate and deflate), because it’s huge and if you try to blow this up by mouth you’re going to pass out. I also do appreciate that even if I filled it with water it’s a safe little spot for my 8 month old niece to play in. The only qualm I really have is that there are 3 different inflatable parts (the outer ring, the inner flat part, and then a separate detachable pillow) but the inner part does not hold air like at all so by the time I get it blown up, take it outside, and get ready to lay on it… it’s already lost air. Today I inflated everything, put it out in the yard, filled it about halfway with water, and by the time I got in it the bottom had deflated so it felt like I was laying on the hard ground. I had put an outdoor blanket underneath it to protect it from rocks in the yard so it wasn’t that bad but just keep in mind it might not be the most comfortable option. It’s cheap enough that if it pops I’d gladly buy a new one, but I’ve used it a few times now and I’m sure it’ll last me a good bit. I do wish it came in more designs or colors too but ultimately that’s not important and the design is still pretty cute. I also like the cupholder but it would not be good for a bigger or heavier drink like a tumbler cup (think a Stanley or Hydroflask, etc.) It’s mainly meant for cans and it works great for that but obviously your drink is going to get hot in the sun so consider a coozy to keep it cold. I included a photo of the box of the air pump I bought cause it was one of the cheaper ones and it works just fine to inflate it in a few minutes and deflates everything very quickly. I couldn’t get it small enough to get back in the box so I just deflate it as much as I can, fold it up, put the air pump and the pillow in a large ziplock, and put everything together under my bed.

The best investment I’ve made so far in terms of getting a natural tan in the outdoors.

It’s amazing how well the Inflatable Tanning Pool Lounger Float works! It would be nice if it were a little bit longer, but the size isn’t really a problem for me because I think an average-sized person could wear this with no problems at all. Because I am a bit taller than most people, I find that it is easiest for me to simply hang my legs over the edge of the pool.My personal preference is for the blue version that this company makes available, but I went ahead and placed an order for the green one because it has a reflective base, which does appear to be beneficial while tanning. It really just depends on the day which way I feel like using this item, whether with or without water. Even though I’d love to have an actual pool to relax in for a few hours, I’ve found that lounging on the grass in my backyard is an excellent alternative. The procedure for blowing up was very straightforward. I just bought another manual pump from Amazon because I was unaware that this company offers an automatic blow-up pump at a discounted price when ordering with a floaty. The manual one works wonderfully, and it exploded much more quickly than I had anticipated. My only problem was that I couldn’t get the inflation valves to close properly, but a relative of mine had no such issues, so it’s possible that the problem was only with me.Although I adore the float as a whole, there is one aspect of it that I do wish could be improved, and that is the pillow. My only wish is that it was transparent or reflective like the restof the float. Even though it is comfortable, you won’t be able to get a good tan on your neck if you wear it because the way it is designed casts harsh shadows. This problem can be solved by simply removing the pillow or by turning over occasionally (which is what I did), but this is just a suggestion. Flipping over occasionally is another option. I can understand why the company decided to make it a solid color rather than a clear one because a clear one would not be as appealing to the eye of a customer. In either case, a fantastic product! 10 out of 10 for me, and I will definitely be making use of this throughout the rest of the warm Summer days. I highly recommend it to everyone.Leave a thumbs up so this review can get pushed out to more people!

    Love this for summer!

I bought this tanning pool because I’m pregnant and wanted a way to stay cool while getting some sun in my backyard. The pool feels sturdy, and I love the included headrest and cup holder. I also bought a donut ring (sold separately) for lying on my stomach. Can’t wait to use this over the summer!! Feels like good value for money.

    Perfect floaty for tanning!

This lounger holds up very well! Love the vibrant colors! It stays afloat for hours on end. Easy to move around on in my pool while tanning. I am not worried about falling off while trying to get on it.

Does Not Live Up to Social Media Hype

You get what you pay for. Saw these all over social media and fell for the hype. Item arrived. Fairly easy to inflate if you have a powered pump. The pillow had a leaky seam and was unusable from the start. The pool itself is okay, but a Large does NOT fit me and I’m only 5’7″ and weigh 140 lbs. I think almost anyone will need an XL unless you don’t mind pulling up your knees which kind of defeats the whole purpose of laying in the water. Speaking of which, the way it is designed, unless you are on a completely flat surface (completely!) you’re going to get the water pooling up at the edges and it’s not going to work as you expect. Additionally, the tanning pool is not deep enough to cover any part of you so you’re constantly sloshing it around to stay wet. Because it is so shallow, the water gets warm VERY quickly so you’ll either be refilling often or dealing with bathwater temperatures if you live in a warmer climate like me. It will be fun and I didn’t exactly lose much money but I am disappointed. Does not live up to the social media hype.
